Internal Material Handling
Within industrial plants, each material requires dedicated equipment and tools to ensure safe and productive management. Trailer uses specific procedures for handling wire rods, billets, reinforcing bars, and other raw materials, ensuring fast and optimized operational flows. Our storage organization is based on strict material categorization and accurate recording of every movement, guaranteeing full traceability, orderly spaces, and reduced pick-up and loading times.
To enhance safety and efficiency, Trailer vehicles are equipped with speed limiters set at 60 km/h and swivel driving stations that allow operators to maintain maximum visibility in the direction of travel, even when the load is behind them. Additionally, each vehicle features an advanced obstacle detection system composed of five high-resolution cameras and an onboard industrial processor. Using AI-based software, the system can detect human figures in low-light or nighttime conditions, alerting the driver with audible and visual signals in case of danger.
Through this combination of organization, technology, and dedicated procedures, Trailer ensures fast, safe, and traceable internal material handling.
Loading / Unloading
Loading and unloading operations represent a crucial phase in internal logistics management. By using specialized equipment and vehicles, we achieve an operational process focused on safety and efficiency, significantly reducing waiting times and optimizing goods handling.
Each movement follows structured procedures to minimize risks and enhance performance, precisely coordinating the transfer of goods between different areas of the plant.
Internal Storage Management
Trailer manages its internal storage facilities with the utmost care, ensuring organization, safety, and efficiency in all operations. Our infrastructure includes 150,000 m² of open storage yards and 12,000 m² of covered warehouses, equipped for handling all types of materials.
All storage areas are secured and fenced, with alarms and video surveillance connected to a monitoring center. Every incoming material is identified, recorded, and placed according to criteria that optimize space and flow, reducing loading and unloading times and improving inventory management.
Strict procedures and advanced digital systems ensure material traceability, compliance with regulations, and real-time monitoring of movements, minimizing errors and increasing transparency.
Thanks to integration with our rail terminals, we can load and unload directly onto tracks inside the warehouses, further reducing transfer times and ensuring efficiency and quality at every stage of the service.
