ROAD TRANSPORT
Road transport is one of the cornerstones
of our logistics offering.
With a fleet of approximately 100 road tractors and 400 semi-trailers, we meet increasingly diverse needs. Our constantly updated vehicles include exceptional transport units for loads up to 90 tons and non-standard goods, such as products up to 20 meters in length.
We invest in innovation and sustainability: specialized vehicles transport hot billets up to 600°C, while methane-powered tractors reduce fuel consumption and emissions, providing environmentally friendly transport solutions.
For Trailer, safety and responsibility are core values. We have developed organizational and behavioral models that allow our employees and collaborators to operate in an orderly and safe manner, reducing risks and protecting all stakeholders – including our customers – from the potential consequences of non-compliant transport. Drivers, key figures in this process, are trained and fully aware of the impact of their actions.
Each vehicle is equipped with digital control systems, tachographs and satellite alarms for continuous route monitoring. The fleet undergoes regular maintenance in our in-house workshops, and every vehicle is covered by comprehensive insurance, protecting both the cargo and the service.
Our highly qualified personnel follow strict protocols, ensuring timely transport that complies with regulations, thereby strengthening customer trust and competitiveness in the market.
Third-Part Transport
Trailer always remains the single point of contact for the customer, managing the entire logistics planning and ensuring that the service meets our standards of efficiency and reliability.
When our fleet is fully engaged or when transport involves international destinations where we do not operate directly, we collaborate with carefully selected carriers who meet our qualification standards and with whom we establish formal service agreements for transport and/or subcontracted operations.
Thanks to these established partnerships, we optimize transport times and quality, providing flexible solutions without compromising safety or operational management.
Exceptional Transport
We manage exceptional transport in terms of both dimensions and weight, offering comprehensive solutions for loads that exceed the limits established by the Highway Code (art. 61 and 62).
For oversized transport, our specialized vehicles — such as telescopic flatbeds and trailers with coil pits — allow us to handle products up to 20 meters in length. Every operation is designed to comply with regulations and ensure maximum safety on roads, bridges and infrastructure.
For overweight transport, we have vehicles capable of carrying goods up to 90 net tons, ideal for heavy machinery, industrial plants and other large industrial items. Our in-house office manages all necessary permits and related procedures, ensuring rigorous control at every stage.
In exceptional transport, nothing is left to chance: we carefully plan routes and potential contingencies, thoroughly assessing regulatory compliance.
