RAIL TRANSPORT

We exclusively manage the railway terminal in Rezzato (Brescia), located on the Milan – Venice railway line. Here we have our property areas, areas given in concession by the FS Group and warehouses connected by about 300 meters of inner rail and about 800 meters of external rail.

Rail inbound traffics originate in steel connected plants (in Italy and in North-East Europe) and go to Rezzato platform. Goods come by wagon and, after storage, they are distributed by truck to recipients dislocated within about 100 km from the platform (in the provinces of Brescia, Verona, Vicenza, Bergamo, Milan, Cremona and Mantua).

Outbound traffics are mostly destined to ports and originate from steel plants connected to Rezzato platform.

SEA TRANSPORTS

We rely on the most important ports of northern and central Italy with whom we work from decades, in particular those of Chioggia, Marghera, Carrara, Piombino, Ravenna and La Spezia, in most of which we have our own offices.

The most interesting market for sea freights concerns export to Mediterranean and North Africans countries, but more and more to new ‘BRICS‘ markets, and import above all from far-east countries.
